Right now, we would protect Rielly, Gardiner, and Carrick, with Zaitsev being exempt, which is nice and tidy, but if you add another top 4 D in there now, Carrick would probably be exposed, and Vegas would snap him up in a flat second.

Currently have over 3M in cap space, and more will free up with expiring contracts. Gorton would probably buy out Girardi to free up a spot on that right side too.
